Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Wind Tunnel, Propulsion and UAS Labs
Prescott Campus · Prescott, Arizona
A purpose-built aeronautics center bringing wind-tunnel research, propulsion testing, and uncrewed-aircraft education together at the Prescott Campus.

The project
Research infrastructure built for what comes next.
The aeronautics center brings specialized teaching and research environments together across two one-story buildings. The program includes a 5,600-square-foot wind-tunnel laboratory, two 1,300-square-foot propulsion laboratories, classroom space, and a 3,000-square-foot Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems laboratory.
The Embry-Riddle Wind Tunnel Lab supports theoretical and hands-on aerodynamics education. The university reports that the facility houses seven wind tunnels along with aerodynamic measurement, flow-visualization, and supersonic-testing equipment.
Purpose-built access to applied research.
The building supports a hands-on learning model across aerodynamics, propulsion, and remotely piloted aircraft systems—giving students direct access to the spaces where theory becomes measurable performance.
